The TVS Motor Company has roped in Super Star of Bollywood- Amitabh Bachchan as the ‘Brand Philosophy Evangelist’ for its popular scooter, Jupiter. It is the first time that Amitabh Bachchan is endorsing an automotive brand in two-wheeler space. Even before, Amitabh Bachchan has already endorsed for the other brand named as Maruti Suzuki. Furthermore, TVS Motor has already promoted its brand earlier by signing up the other celebrities name as, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma and Mahesh Babu.
The TVS Jupiter is the most leading scooter among the scooter segment that has received a big round of applause from the audience. The company has sold 500,000 units of Jupiter in just one and half year, and it consistently maintained its position in the list of top 10 selling scooter in the country. The manufacturer has paid a lot of attention to win the faith of the audience.

To make it the key player of the segment, the firm has blessed the Jupiter with iconic features that include a refined engine, wide seat, Gas-filled suspension at the rear and LED tail light. In terms of technical features, the Jupiter is powered by an 110cc air-cooled and single cylinder engine that returns 8 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 8Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine is mated to a V-Matic transmission that provides smooth acceleration. The scooter features both Power and Echo Mode that take care of fuel consumption.

According to reports, TVS Motor has become a number two player in the scooter segment after overtaking the Hero MotoCorp in sales during the first quarter of this fiscal. Moreover, with the tagline of ‘Zyada Ka Fayda’, the scooter returns a claimed mileage of 63 KMPL. The TVS Jupiter is available in two variants- TVS Jupiter Standard and Jupiter ZX.
