TVS Range of Electric Scooters and Motorcycles Concepts Ready to Showcase at the 2018 Auto Expo India’s biggest motor show, Delhi Auto Expo will kick off soon. It is the 14th iteration of the event this year. As always youth and biking enthusiasts are eager to be aware of offerings will be supplied by the automakers. One out of them, TVS Motors that is India’s third largest motorcycle manufacturer is ready to display a range of its products including electric scooters, concepts and upcoming motorcycles.
Let’s start with the brand’s electric scooter concept, the TVS Creon. As the company claims it is "a testament to the fact that electric scooters can be both exciting as well as environment friendly." Bold and sharp in design, the TVS Creon carries sportier styling. While the powering for the scooter will come from three lithium-ion batteries which are capable of generating the maximum power of 12kW. In a single charge, the Creon can cover up the distance of 80km and is able to reach the 60kmph from its standstill position in just 5.1 seconds.The battery can be charged upto 80 percent in just one hour. Moreover, we can also expect the introduction of smart connected technologies that are being developed via TVS in association with the Intel.
Also, we experience the same in the form of Smartxonnect in the lately launched TVS Ntorq125, a 125cc scooter. The next in the row is a brand new 220 cc cruiser bike concept. It is a performance-oriented motorcycle and named as the TVS Zeppelin. Meant to cater wanderlust ride goals in its avatar sporting a raw metal look, the performance cruiser is packed with a 220cc engine with Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). It is a TVS patented technology which start the motorcycle faster and helps in providing unmatched performance and best-in-class fuel mileage. Moreover, the engine is also associated with a 1200W regenerative assist motor with 48V Li-ION battery that enhance the power performance of the motorcycle. The major highlights of the TVS Zeppelin includes first-in-class smart Bio-key, HD action camera, electronic speedometer, online connectivity and much more.
