British company Triumph Motorcycles has officially announced the prices of the 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200 for the UK market. The adventure bike is expected to hit the dealership by next month in the country.
The updated range of the Triumph Tiger 1200 bikes was revealed by the company three weeks ago at the 2017 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. The all existing six models of the bike have been renewed along with the addition of two new ‘Expedition’ variants, which feature an additional set of luggage on top of the previous XRT and XCA models.
The latest Triumph Tiger model doesn’t carry the ‘Explorer’ tag in its name, but it continues to be an adventure bike for which these models are particularly famous. The bike has been introduced with a completely redesigned body and many additional features such as new TFT dashboard, optimized cornering ABS, adaptive cornering lights, traction control, Triumph shift assist, and a hill-hold function. The updates are mainly focused on improving the rideability of the new models.

The 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200’s UK prices are as follows:
Tiger 1200 XR - GBP 12,200 (Rs 10.53 lakhs)
Tiger 1200 XRX - GBP 14,150 (Rs 12.21 lakhs)
Tiger 1200 XRT - GBP 16,150 (Rs 13.94 lakhs)
Tiger 1200 XRX Low - GBP 14,150 (Rs 12.21 lakhs)
Tiger 1200 XCX - GBP 14,950 (Rs 12.91 lakhs)
Tiger 1200 XCA - GBP 16,950 (Rs 14.63 lakhs)
The Tiger has been one of the most successful models designed by the company specifically for the Indian market. The new Tiger 1200 models along with the existing Tiger 800 are expected to launch in India by next year, which will be a welcome move as the country is eagerly waiting for the same. The India prices may however be kept at a little higher side as compared to the UK prices listed above.
