UM Renegade Cruisers Surpasses Duke 250, CBR 250R and Others in sales

For your reminisce, UM Motorcycles is not a member of SIAM that clarifies the American manufacturer's official sales figures will not be revealed anytime. Although, if the ET report believes, the CEO of the brand, Mr. Rajeev Mishra has disclosed the brand’s sales figures from the motorcycles sold under Renegade brand.

The last financial year’s sales figures for UM Motorcycles were 9800 units that calculate an average sale of about 820 units monthly. As compared to other products of well-established brands such as the KTM Duke 250, Mahindra Mojo, Honda CBR 250R and others in the similar price range, these average sold out units are relatively lower at 500 and under 100 units, respectively. Which are pretty respectable figures for the brand that is all new and trying to expand its reach in the Indian market.

Besides gaining that satisfactory sale, UM Motorcycles is not going to stop here and looking forward to attaining the set target of 15,000 units for this fiscal. And, that can only be achieved with the expansion of dealership network from current 78 outlets to 100 in the coming three months. For this, the tier 1 and tier 2 cities will be the major target of the manufacturer in the country.

Furthermore, the brand has introduced the Thor-World’s first e-cruiser with a reverse gear in the country. While the 230cc Renegade Duty is a lined up model that will join its siblings soon and will generate the volume for the country in bulk as it will be the most affordable offering from the brand. In addition to this, a host of modern products could also be witnessed from the UM house in future.
