Upcoming Maruti Vitara Brezza Sketch Released

Maruti Suzuki has finally revealed the official sketch of its upcoming SUV named Vitara Brezza, which is an Italian term for "Fresh Breeze". It's scheduled to make an entry at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016 and thereafter will be launched in the Indian market. With this model, the carmaker is planning to expand its Vitara brand, which is already being sold in the international market. It's based on the XA Alpha concept that had been already displayed at the Auto Expo held in 2012. Design cues will be drawn from the iV-4 concept revealed at 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The model has been spotted with camouflage at various incidents, but the proper look will be presented only at the Auto Expo in February. Its styling elements consist of a sloping roofline, rising beltline, and a floating roof design. Further, it will be fitted with squared wheel arches, angular tail light cluster, lower air dam, short overhangs, chrome grille and an upright hood.

Vitara Brezza will be offered in both diesel as well as petrol guises carrying a 1.3 litre and 1.4 litre motor respectively. Diesel variant will generate 89Bhp/200Nm of maximum ouput, whereas petrol one will pump out 83.11Bhp/115Nm output. Besides this, a 1.6 litre MultiJet engine from S-Cross could also be borrowed by Vitara. Much like S-Cross and Baleno, this one will also be available for sale at Nexa outlets. With this launch, a serious threat will be posed against models like the all new Mahindra TUV300 and the famous Ford EcoSport.
