The updated 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has been launched in the country. Tata Motors-owned JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) introduced the much anticipated SUV, new Range Rover Evoque across six trims and the price for the new models starts from INR 49.10 and goes up to INR 67.90 Lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. With the launch of new Evoque range, JLR has introduced its new engine family. Now, the 2017 Range Rover Evoque became the first SUV in the country to be powered by the Ingenium Diesel motor.

Range Rover Evoque Pure: INR 49.10 Lakh
Range Rover Evoque SE: INR 54.20 Lakh
Range Rover Evoque Dynamic: INR 56.30 Lakh
Range Rover Evoque HSE : INR 59.25 Lakh
Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic : INR 64.65 Lakh
Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic Ember Edition: INR 67.90 Lakh
Thanks JLR for not hiking the price of the updated Evoque range too much, the new Evoque remain almost unchanged in terms of price. However, the 2017 range of Evoque only includes diesel powertrain at the moment, the petrol version, Si4 is expected to be introduced in early next year.

What’s the biggest change to the new 2017 Range Rover Evoque series is fall beneath the front-end of the baby SUV. the new range of Evoque is powered by the all new 2.0-litre all-aluminium Ingenium diesel engine that also does duty in the Jaguar XF. The 4-cylinder motor setup is capable of churning out the maximum power of 180 PS and the peak torque of 430 Nm. Just to remind you, the power output is 10PS less and torque is 10 Nm more than that of the outgoing SD4 engine. On transmission, the updated Evoque range continues to get 9-speed automatic gearbox unit instead of the 8-speed that is paired with the Jaguar XF. All-wheel drive system will be standard across all the trims.

On the design aspects, the new Evoque remains more or less unchanged. It offers similar bold style along with the luxurious and comfortable interior. The exterior details of the car include sharper lines, muscular structure, tapered roof and adaptive LED headlights along with the distinctive LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights).
As you step inside, you will feel the same Range Rover SUV kind of comfort with the extraordinary detailing. The list of interior qualities include the premium materials such as Oxford leather, twin-needle stitching and deeply padded door inserts. The car is equipped with an InControl Touch Pro infotainment system.
Ember Edition -
The updated range of 2017 Range Rover Evoque includes a special edition, called ‘Ember Edition’ which is introduced on the range topping HSE Dynamic variant. The special Ember edition features a unique Black & Red theme inside out of the vehicle. On the other aspects, the car gets similar range topping features.
