All You Need to Know About Jaguar Land Rover Discovery India Launch

The most awaiting and the most mesmerising “The 2019 Land Rover Discovery” has been launched by Jaguar Land Rover in India today. For the model 2019, the Discovery comes with many exquisite features, the most highlighted one is the new downsized 2.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 240PS and 500 Nm of torque. The diesel engine comes mated to a sequential turbocharger.

Other notable features include four-zone-climate-control, cabin air ionisation, 360-degree surround camera, adaptive cruise control and a panoramic sunroof. The innovations for chaise lounge includes electrically reclining seats, seat fold and powered third-row seats in the seating capacity of seven.

The 2019 Land Rover Discovery comes with an approach angle of 34-degree, 30-degree departure angle and a 27.5-degree break-over angle. The Discovery has a water wading capacity of up to 900mm and dragging capacity of up to 3,500kg.

The price of the Discovery starts from INR 75.18 lakhs for the S trim. The price of the other three trims of 2019 Land Rover Discovery, which are SEHSE and HSE Luxury, extends till INR 87.95 Lakhs.

"The Discovery's unmatched capability and versatility have now been enhanced with the introduction of the high powered Ingenium diesel variant at an attractive price, that we believe will enable the Discovery to appeal to a wider customer base.", said Rohit Suri, President and M.D. at Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL).

Discovery comes in both Diesel and Petrol variant. It looks dynamic and dazzling with the dimensions (L x W x H) of 4988 x 2220 x 1846. With the automatic transmission and Maximum Power (ps) of 525 / 340, the 2019 Land Rover Discovery is sure to enthral its lovers.
