Vespa Elegante Sets in Motion Apart

The upgraded Vespa Primevera, named as Vespa Elegante, carrying more elegant looks has been officially revealed by the company at the launching event held in Pune. The newly launched two-wheeler has made its appearance as a limited edition scooter in India. The vehicle carrying a retro styled theme and will be featuring new and classic specifications, as compared to the base version. The Piaggio owned Vespa Two-Wheeler industry is also planning to launch its scooter range equipped with FI, especially for India.

The Vespa Elegante will be reaching to the dealership showrooms on 20th September, 2014. As, the firm has mentioned that it is a limited edition scooter, so the company is limited to manufacturer only 3,500 units for India. Following the launch of Vespa Esclusivo, which happened just a few weeks back, it will be second limited edition scooter introduced by the company.

Limited Edition Vespa Elegante

Technically, the newly launched scooter will be featuring the same four-stroke, air-cooled engine with an engine displacement of 125cc, which was previously used in the Vespa VX. The power and torque figures of the scooter generated by its power plant are 10 PS of total power and 10.06Nm of torque. The scooter is equipped with front disc brake and rear drum brake. Well, we can say that it is a combination scooter, as the mechanical part of the scooter has been carried out from Vespa VX and the styling, curves and cues are being borrowed by the company's international scooter, Vespa Primavera.

Limited Edition Vespa Elegante

However, a new member has joined the Indian portfolio of Vespa Scooters with more vibrant colors like Pearl White and Marrakech Brown, exclusively for Elegante. The changes which have been carried by the Elegante scooter are its leather finished split seat, chrome guard kit, new metallic colors and the "Elegante" badge over the scooter's body. The price of the two-wheeler will be announced soon by the manufacturer.
