Volkswagen has recently released the teaser images of an SUV concept that is going to make its debut next month at Beijing Auto Show. This is believed to be the all new model named Touareg, which will be soon rolled out in the markets globally. As per Volkswagen, this SUV carries features like a curved glass screen and highly digitalised interiors equipped with an all new infotainment facility. This indicates that we will possibly get to see a neatly designed dashboard with minimal usage of buttons. Mechanically, it will be packed with a 376Hp hybrid engine that will be available with various driving modes. It is able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6 seconds, while the top speed will be electrically limited to 80 km.

Volkswagen and its sub-brand Skoda have planned to roll out 9 new SUVs for the Indian market. So, it makes sense that Touareg will be one of them and could arrive after the debut taking place at Beijing. Other models under this plan include- new Tiguan, Skoda Vision-S based SUV, Next generation Skoda Yeti, production versions of T-Cross, T-Roc, Cross Blue based SUV, etc.
