Yamaha NVX 150 Scooter Spied in Indonesia Ahead its Premiere

A few camera shots of the upcoming Yamaha NVX 150 has been surfaced online via all the way from Indonesian market, under Iwanbanaran courtesy. As expected, this sportier scooter offering from the Japanese venture, Yamaha, will launch in Indonesia by this year end and slotted its place beneath the Yamaha NMax in the stable product portfolio.

Apparently, the Yamaha NVX 150 is wearing the design language inspired from the Yamaha’s lineup motorcycle. It gets dual headlight clusters, a taillight cluster with integrated LED brakelights and a motorcycle-inspired exhaust canister.

Mechanically, the Yamaha NVX 150 is likely to share the same powertrain of the Yamaha NMax. Mated with a V-Belt CVT unit, a 155 cc single-cylinder, the liquid-cooled unit is capable of producing 14.88 hp at 8,000 rpm and delivering the torque of 14.4 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

Dimensionally, this newbie is anticipated to be 1,955 mm in length, 745mm in width and 1,115mm in height with a wheelbase of measure 1,350mm similar to the NMax. Braking responsibilities will be performed by the petal-shaped disc brake at the front wheel and drum brake at rear with the ABS as standard. The alloy wheels fitment will remain same as on the existing scooter.

Other features include a 5.8-inch all-LCD instrument cluster, keyless start system, a smart-entry system with a button-type unlock for the fuel lid and under-seat storage, 25-liters of storage space under the seat and 140 mm 14-inch tyres.
