Yamaha MT-03 Launch Soon

The Japanese two-wheeler maker, Yamaha, has confirmed the arrival of MT-03 in the country, information comes from the Economy Times. The motorcycle would probably launch in the country by the next year. The company has already released the specifications and images, as we discussed before. The street-fighter MT-03 is the naked avatar of the most famous Yamaha R25 and YZF-R3, that is recently launched in the Indian two-wheeler market. MT-03 unveiled at the 2015 EICMA show that was held in Milan, Italy.

To keep the repute of price for the buyers, the construction of the motorcycle could happen here in the Yamaha’s manufacturing facilities that are located in Faridabad (Haryana) and Surajpur (Uttar Pradesh).

The Yamaha MT-03 constructed on the diamond-type steel frame, which is integrated with a front telescopic suspension and rear swing arm. In terms of braking, the Yamaha MT-03 is featured with a front two-piston caliper, 298mm disc brake and rear single-piston caliper 220mm disc brake, it also features a dual channel Anti-lock Braking System.

Cosmetically, the naked street motorcycle features a single unit handlebar and split seats that look promising for dynamic comfortable ride. The combative look comes from its single unit headlight and muscular fuel tank. Furthermore, the front gets a 110/70-17 tubeless tyre, while the rear has 140/70-17 tubeless tyre.

The motorcycle is powered by a 321cc liquid-cooled four-stroke parallel-twin motor that also powers the YZF-R3, that producing 42 PS of power at 10,750 RPM and 29.6 Nm of torque at 9,000 RPM and the motor is coupled with a six speed transmission.

The Yamaha MT-03 comes against to the Benelli TNT300, Kawasaki Z250 and the KTM 390 Duke in India. And, the price may cost around the 3 lakhs. Stay tuned with SAGMart to know more about the launching of the naked street-fighter.
