Yamaha YZF R3, No More Rumors, Its Real Now

Unlike any other manufacturer, Yamaha always has a surprise for its fans. A few months back, the firm has come-up with the most anticipated quarter-liter segment motorcycle, named as Yamaha R25. The company has launched this motorcycle in Indonesia and now it's moving on towards the remaining Asian countries. The firm has taken care of the European and US fans as well, as they have mentioned that the newly introduced ultra-class appearance motorcycle is specifically designed for European countries and United States. The exciting Yamaha YZF R3 is expected to make its official appearance in the aforementioned countries by the coming year, 2015.

The newly originated engine is being the pivoting attraction stance of the Yamaha YZF R3. The liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line twin-cylinder engine has been conceived by this sports motorcycle. The 321cc DOHC engine is capable to generate a total power of 40.5 BHP at 10,750 revs and a peak torque of 29.6 Nm @ 9000 revs. The power plant of the sports motorcycle is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission and sports telescopic front forks and monoshock at the rear. The stopping power has been taken care by disc brakes at both front and rear. The Yamaha boffins haven't spoke said anything about the ABS, but the Europeans will surely have it.

The all new Yamaha YZF R3 is built around a tubular steel diamond type frame, which took its inspiration from the revolutionary Yamaha R1. The 321cc displacement motorcycle has identical swing-arm with a kerb weight of 169 kg. Above all, the newly launched sports motorcycle is a combination of its bigger siblings such as R1 and R6. It is featuring a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters but it could disappoint you with its looks because the angel eye from the Yamaha R1 is clearly missing. Looking at the front, it doesn’t look much aggressive, unlike other siblings.

The Yamaha YZF R3 is scheduled to get launched at the forthcoming EICMA, 2014, which is going in the first week of November month at the Milan, Italy. The sports motorcycle will directly be competing with the Honda CBR 300R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and other existing 300cc segment motorcycles. The price of this upcoming motorcycle is yet to be announced.
