The electric motorcycle manufacturer, Zero Motorcycles has launched the DSR Black Forest Edition in Europe. Going to be available across the European market, the special edition adventure tourer will be on sale at GBP 18,785 (Rs 12.2 lakhs).
Go by the name, the bike gets an astonishing black shade with camouflage graphics on the fuel tank. Further, the accessories which complete this touring electric machine includes black aluminium panniers, knuckle guards, a touring windscreen and seat, LED auxiliary lights and a head light protector a standard.

The propelling power of 70bhp along with 157Nm torque comes from the brand’s noted Z-Force powertrain. The engine is capable of making bike easily attain the top speed of 168kmph. In a single charge, the mill offers the travel distance of 262kms in the city and 125kms at the highway. Furthermore, the bikemaker provides an assistance of smartphone connectivity to regulate the bike’s performance via the mobile app.
In addition to that, a battery and an optional ‘Charge tank’ are also on offer for the motorcycle. Priced at GBP 3000 (Rs 2.76 lakhs) the former enhances the travelling range up to 328kms in the city and 156kms for highway runs. Whereas available at GBP 2300 (Rs 2.12 lakhs), the optional ‘Charge tank’ increase the charging speed of the battery.
The Indian arrival of the Zero Motorcycles DSR Black Forest Edition is in darkness as our market is not meant for performance-oriented electric motorcycles for now.
