HP EliteBook Laptop With Self-Healing BIOS Launched for Business Users

The American information technology company HP has now revealed its new EliteBook-series laptops targeting its business users. The EliteBook 1030 has been priced at $1,249 (approx. INR 80,000) and will officially go on sale this month itself. HP EliteBook 1030 sports a 13.3-inch screen

In terms of design specs, the new EliteBook 1030 sports a 13.3-inch screen and is available in two different models out of which one sports a non-touch full-HD display whilst the other packs a Quad-HD display alongside featuring touch. The tablet comes with an extra layer of Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the screen alongside having a "jewel cut" all metal design and a fanless design.

The company further states that the new EliteBook 1030 comes equipped with a back-lit keyboard that is also spill-resistant and can additionally offer 13 hours of battery life. To ensure data security, the laptop comes featured with some additional features like HP Sure Start with Dynamic Protection The company says that the laptop sports the industry's first self-healing BIOS that also allows runtime monitoring. This further gets better with the presence of on-sensor fingerprint reader and to manage different devices, the gadget comes with optional Intel vPro 4 and LANDesk management that itself comes equipped with IT requirements.

HP EliteBook 1030 incorporates 6th-Gen Intel Core M processor

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by a 1.1GHz 6th-Generation Intel Core M processor and it additionally comes with 512GB of SSD storage. The device further incorporates 16GB of RAM storage and in terms of connectivity features a USB Type-C port, two Micro-USB 3.0 ports, Wi-Di, Miracast, WLAN 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 4.2. Additionally, the presence of Bang and Olufsen speakers on the HP laptop enhances the overall audio experience of the user.
