Lenovo Stretched Yoga Series with Yoga 300 and 500

The Chinese multinational firm has announced the expansion of its Yoga Series of laptops in the Indian electronic market. With the introduction of two new convertible laptops, the Lenovo has once again made its appearance in the affordable segment of advance devices. Loaded with Windows 8.1, the on-board products are Lenovo Yoga 300 and Yoga 500. The 2-in-1 genre laptops have now offered by Lenovo in an affordable segment carrying a pocket-friendly price tag. Introduced back in the 2012, now the firm is working on the expansion of the series in the Indian market.

Detailing about the Yoga 500, it is loaded with enhanced features. Occupied in two variants: 1 TB HDD or 1 TB SSHD, it comes bundled up with up to 8 GB RAM and houses discrete Nvidia GT940M graphics solution for providing better gaming zone. It works on 5th generation Intel Core i7 processor and gets Windows 8.1 Operating System. With the 14 inch and 15.6 inch full HD display, it gives an amazing experience to view clear pictures, videos and movies. Supported by 802.11 ac Wi-fi and Bluetooth 4.0, it also gives user a USB connectivity option with two 3.0 ports and one 2.0 port, HDMI port and even a 4-in-1 card reader as well.

Whereas, on the other hand Lenovo Yoga 300 comes functional with Intel Pentium N3540 quad-core processor along with Windows 8.1 on-board and integrated Intel HD graphics. Talking about the variants of Lenovo Yoga 300, it will get offered in three variants: 64 GB eMMC flash storage, 1 TB HDD or 500 GB SSHD. Being a member of the Yoga family, it sports four modes, i.e. Laptop, Stand, Tent and Tablet.

Housing a 11.6 inch HD display, it simply weighs 1.39 kg, which is handy for multi-purpose utilization. It comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 365 with validity for up to a year. On the connectivity front, it is equipped with 802.11ac Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI, two USB 2.0 ports and one 3.0 port, audio jack and 4-in-1 SD card reader.

While talking about these new launches in the Yoga series, Director and Marketing of Lenovo, Mr. Bhaskar Choudhari says, “The Yoga franchise is the representation of this consumer-centric design and engineering. We are happy to make the Yoga franchise, through this new line of products, accessible to a much wider audience”. Carrying an affordable price tag, the entry-level Lenovo Yoga 300 is priced at INR 30,490. However, the Lenovo Yoga 500 carries a hefty price tag of INR 57,990.
