Motorola Planning to Re-enter Tablet Market Soon

According to some reports by Android Police, Motorola is currently working on a new tablet to re-enter tablet market across the world. The company’s last tablet was launched back in 2011 dubbed as Motorola Xoom. The report further adds that the tablet will also feature a ‘Productivity’ mode, apart from it, no further information has been revealed yet.

The upcoming Moto tablet is expected to be blessed with a 9-10 inch display along with a ‘Productivity’ mode, which can pin in the used applications to the taskbar. This feature can help in one-touch app switching instead of opening a separate window to access all recently opened apps. Pinned applications can be terminated by simply long-pressing them on the icon and flicking them upward. The complete processing seems to be similar to the Chrome OS, just like the Productivity mode on Lenovo’s futuristic Yoga Book.

Moreover, the taskbar in the upcoming tablet may also feature an app drawer to easily access all the applications on the system on a ghost menu, which can be proved to be useful for someone using multiple apps on a mobile device on the go. The company has not revealed any official details regarding the specifications or the design of upcoming gadget, so we must have to wait a bit for the official announcement.

Apart from it, the re-introduction of Moto in the tablet market is a bit surprising, as the tablets have been out of favour in the market for a while now. Keeping up with the productivity mode, it seems like the company is looking forward to introducing a tablet with flagship specification. For now, we can just stick up with the rumours and wait for any kind of official announcement by the company, which may give us some clue what it is going to offer next.
