Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact with Waterproof Nature Uncovered at IFA

September 3, the day which makes the Berlin city a dream city for electronic gadgets, has gained the success to gird everyone with IFA event. As it was previously teased in a poster that Sony has posted to give the indication of its waterproof tablet and the same has been finally uncovered at the event, dubbed Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact along with Company’s three smartphones- Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Xperia E3.

What the anomaly in the device is its 8 inch screen which seems little big to hold in palm but the 6.4mm thickness makes it flimsy with 0.6-pound weight but hard to fit in a pocket. Apart from this, the device will come with LTE modem to give you the facility of making calls. Company has said that it will come in LTE and Wi-Fi variants that will reach in Autumn 2014 for the select markets initially.

Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is powered with Android 4.4 KitKat OS and paired with 8-inch WUXGA TRILUMINOS display. This display is powered by X-Reality for mobile picture engine and ofer the screen resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. With P65/68 certification, this tablet is designed with waterproof and dust-proof nature.

Its 16GB of inbuilt storage is quite enough for saving huge amount of data which can be further expandable upto 128GB via microSD card. Its 8.1-megapixel autofocus rear camera is built to offer best imaging experience with Exmor RS sensor. On the other side, there is a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera also houses to give best selfie experience. The camera functionalities don’t end over here, 8x digital zoom, SteadyShot - video stabilisation, Burst mode, Object tracking and lock focus are few more advanced features for camera section of tablet.

Z3 Tablet Compact gets GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G LTE support to meet with the connectivity purpose. The 4500mAh battery works as a powerhouse for this tablet by offering upto 1220 hours of standby time. Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will be available in Black and White colors. This tablet also features a PS4 Remote Play which blesses the game lovers by streaming PS4 games on tablet. So, enjoying the PS4 games on a tablet sounds great using home Wi-Fi network but needs DualShock 4 Wireless Controller and GCM10 Game Control Mount to play the game.
