Apple to Clean App Store And Limit Word Count of App Names

Apple has now planned to clean up the mess created by many outdated apps in the App store. The leading techno inventing firm has now started to send emails to developers to inform them about the action they are about to take. According to some reports, if any application is found to be outdated, violating review guidelines or no longer is in functioning, then that application will be removed from App store. The company is also intended to take one more step to maintain the systematic arrangement of the applications by restricting app names to 50 characters on App store.

As per the company, this process will start from 7th of September, the day of iPhone 7 release. The company stated on its FAQ page that, “To make it easier for customers to find great applications that fit their needs, we want to ensure that apps available on the App store are functional and up-to-date. We’re implementing an ongoing process of evaluating apps, removing apps that no longer functions as intended, don’t follow current review guidelines, or are outdated.”

Apple will also kick off the applications, which crashes down while getting started. Other app developers will be given a time period of 30 days to make necessary changes in the application and to solve out the issues. Till then, the apps will be removed temporarily from the App store and only be reinstated when the company will get an appropriate update of the application.

The removal of application will not affect the users who are already using that particular app. They will be able to experience the exact version with the exact working of the application. People who intend to download the removed app will not get it on App store and people who have already downloaded it will not get affected by the removal.

And yeah, the leading techno industry is also about to rein the name of any application. The registered apps on the App store can not have more than 50 characters in their name.
