Acer Liquid Z220 Flavoured in Android Lollipop for Budget Users

The Taiwanese tech giant Acer made its appearance at MWC 2015 and brought three smartphones in Liquid series to exhibit. The Acer Liquid Z, Liquid Z220, and Liquid Z520 are the devices which were announced in Barcelona at EUR 199, EUR 89 and EUR 109 respectively. We have talked about the Liquid Jade Z in our earlier post. Here we will talk about the Liquid Z220 – the first Android Lollipop powered smartphone by the company.

Offering a budget device with the latest Android platform is a very initiative step by the maker. This puts the handset in the fray of recently launched Android Lollipop based budget devices like Moto E (Gen 2). On the specification side, this smartphone features a 4-inch display which offers 480 x 800 pixels screen resolution.

To lit the display with speedy performance, the dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor does its job wonderfully along with 1GB RAM. The Liquid Z220 is incorporate with an 8GB built-in storage which is spacious enough to store huge amount of data. And, to expand this space more, a microSD card slot is also on-board.

Company has worked hard to craft camera module impeccably for shutterbugs. It bears a 5-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and 89-degree wide view angle lens, while a 2-megapixel front imager is crafted to make selfie experience better. However, company has not provided any detail regarding the SIM slot and battery capacity. This handset will be going to hit the market shelves in March.
