Asus ZenFone 5 (A502CG) Reached India at Rs. 8,999 with Staggering Specs

The Chinese tech gargantuan Asus has finally made its classy smartphone, ZenFone 5 (A502CG) available in India. The phone has been reached to Indian shores and can be purchased from the famous Indian e-commerce store Flipkart at Rs. 8,999. After shining in the Philippines market as ZenFone 5 Lite, the Company has decided to spread the same glitter on Indian land and brought this device at affordable price.

Also known as ZenFone 5 Lite, this smartphone is a lite version of ZenFone 5 (A501CG). The newly launched smartphone looks quite compelling with its stylish built. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, it is meant for offering amazing user experience along with ZenUI. It comes paired with 5-inch display that offers qHD resolution of 540x960 pixels. Thanks to Company’s own TruVivid technology to make the display more impressive with vivid colors.

It takes the power from Intel’s Atom Z2520 dual-core processor, clocked at 1.2GHz. Hyper-Threading is also there to make the performance speedier and smooth along with 1GB RAM. Asus is known for its quality work and the same can be seen in this handset also. The battery of 2500mAh capacity is slightly strong than its predecessor.

Asus ZenFone 5 (A502CG) sports an 8-megapixel rear snapper which has autofocus feature to make pictures perfect. A 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also houses for video calling purpose. It comes incorporated with few connectivity features, including Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, and 3G. On the storage front, an 8GB of inbuilt storage is hiding inside the phone with a microSD card slot that can provide the expandable data storage of upto 64GB.

Asus also has plans to launch its ZenFone 2 series handset at CES 2015. Earlier the Compay had introduced PadFone mini for Indian market at Rs. 15,999 which was announced first at CES 2014. Now, we are waiting for the CES 2015 which will bring a new ZenFone 2 with staggering features.
