Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 Smartphone Launched in India at Rs. 5,299

Asus is one of those brands who is known for launching budget-friendly smart phones both in and outside India. Taking another step forward in the category of the affordable smartphone market in the country, Asus has come up with another new product Asus ZenFone GO 4.5 priced at INR 5,299 and is exclusively made available on e-commerce website Flipkart from this Monday and that it will be made available offline from next month. It is an entry-level smartphone that comes with basic specifications. Earlier to this, the company had launched the Zenfone Go in September this year that is priced slightly higher at INR 7,999.

The 'lite' variant to the Asus ZenFone Go which was launched in September this year comes with 8GB of internal capacity easily expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card. Zenfone Go 4.5 on the contrary, sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, powered by MediaTek's MT6580M quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Though Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 is available in Black colour option only, but Flipkart offering some exchange offers alongside, adds a cherry on the cake for the users.

Other features of the Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 includes a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) sensor placed upfront. The dual-SIM supports 3G, Wi-Fi, and other standard connectivity features. The smart phone operates on Android 5.1 with Zen UI 2.0 and houses 1600mAh battery which offers 10.9 hours of talk time and 355 hours of standby time on 3G network. Dimensionally, the Zenfone Go 4.5 is 10.1mm thick carrying a weight of 133 grams.

Earlier this year the company launched the Asus ZenFone C in India at a price point of Rs. 5,999 and the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer continues to keep a balance between it's high-end and low-end smartphone offerings, ensuring to target both the ends of the market effectively. At the upcoming CES 2016, the company is expected to launch the Zenfone 3 smartphone. The rumors suggest the device to sport a fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port for faster data transfer speeds.
