Samsung on 5th April made an announcement about the launch of the Galaxy A20 in India and also said that the smartphone will go on sale from next week. Along with the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 smartphones, the Galaxy A20 has come under the lineup of Galaxy A series. The South Korean technology giant launched the smartphone in Russia in March 2019 and India is among the first market to get the Galaxy A20 phone.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 will carry a price sticker of Rs 12,490 in India. It is a mid-range smartphone.
The smartphone will go on sale from 10th March through Samsung Online Shop, major online retailers, Samsung Opera House, and brick-and-mortar stores. It will be available in three color options- Red, Blue, and Black.
Samsung has not yet made any official announcement about the launch offers.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 flaunts a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. There is a dewdrop notch with Infinity-V Display design language of the company which houses the front camera.
The Galaxy A20 will be available in a single storage option i.e. 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which through a microSD card slot can be expanded up to 512GB.
In terms of the Hardware, the Galaxy A20 carries a processor octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC which comes with two high power cores which is clocked at 1.6GHz and with a clock speed of 1.35GHz there are six efficiency cores.
In terms of the software, the smartphone runs One UI based Android 9 Pie out of the box.
In terms of the photography, the Samsung Galaxy A20 at the back comes with a dual camera setup which includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture with fixed focus in a notch.
In terms of the features, the Galaxy A20 is fueled up by the large 4,000mAh battery along with a support of fast charging and USB Type-C port. For security, the smartphone comes with a fingerprint reader at the back. Samsung also offers a “3D Glasstic” build feature in the smartphone. The handset comes with the dimension 158.4 x 74.7 x 7.8 mm.
