Blackberry to Bring Passport Smartphone with BlackBerry 10.3 OS

Blackberry will soon be coming with a new smartphone which looks quite different with its square shaped design. Company has given the official confirmation for this device and made the official announcement next month in September. This device is named Blackberry Passport.

Some specifications have been leaked which describes Blackberry Passport’s features while the official unveiling is set for the next month. According to leaked specs, it will get 4.5-inch LCD display and may offer the screen resolution of 1440x1440 pixels. Few details regarding this upcoming smartphone have been rolled out by Company itself.

It is expected to come with quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974-AA) processor which is clocked at 2.2GHz to boast the performance with efficiency and speed. The Blackberry Passport may also get Adreno 330 GPU for solving the gaming purpose with substantial graphics quality. It is also said that device would be equipped with 3GB of RAM which is peerless.

It will be equipped with 32GB of onboard storage and 64GB of secondary storage. If the leaked specifications are to be believed, then we can say that the device will be great in image capturing because of its stunning 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor. It is also coupled with 2MP of front-facing camera and 3450mAh battery. It is expected that it would be 194.4 grams light and 128x90.3x9.3mm sleek. When it will come, it will be the first Blackberry device to run on BlackBerry 10.3 OS. It is also said to come with Blackberry Assistant which was launched earlier for voice based virtual assistant.
