Coolpad Cool Play 7 has been listed on the Chinese e-commerce platform JD.com along with key specifications before the official announcement.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC. The Cool Play 7 comes with a metallic unibody design and having a glass on the rear panel.
It features AI-powered capabilities include facial recognition feature and also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is touted to unlock the screen of the smartphone only in 0.2 seconds. The official launch event is to be scheduled on 30th July 2018.
The Coolpad Cool Play 7 has been listed on JD.com at CNY 999 which roughly translates to Rs 10,100. It is available for pre-registration on the Chinese e-commerce platform.
The Coolpad Cool Play 7 features a 5.85-inch HD+ TFT display which offers a screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. In terms of hardware, the Cool Play 7 has an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with 4GB RAM.
For storing content, it gets a 64GB internal storage that can be extended with the help of microSD card.
In terms of photography, Cool Play 7 comes with dual cameras on the rear panel consisting of 13MP primary sensor and secondary sensor is not available at the moment. The rear camera set up has a portrait mode feature which lets the users record slow-motion videos in the smartphone.
Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera integrated with AI-powered beauty filters and Facial Recognition feature.
The Coolpad Cool Play 7 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is armed with a 2800mAh battery and sensors on the smartphone are gyroscope and fingerprint sensor. The dimensions of the smartphone are 151x73.4x8.8mm.
