Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer Coolpad is ready to launch a new smartphone in India. The company has started teasing on the Facebook page for the launch of its next smartphone, Coolpad Cool Play 6. The company has announced that the smartphone will officially launch on 20th August.
Previously, Coolpad Cool Play 6 was launched in China in the month of May in Gold and Black color options. It was available at a price tag of CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,000) in China. It is expected that the price of the of Coolpay 6 will be in similar range in India.
Coolpad CoolPlay 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU which is highlighting feature of the smartphone. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It has 64GB internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD. The mobile phone sports a metal unibody design with dual rear cameras. The volume power keys are placed on the right-hand edge of the smartphone and fingerprint sensor is located on the back side under the rear cameras. It is powered by 4060 mAh battery, as the company claims - it offers 252 hours of standby, up to 9 hours of internet browsing and 6 hours of extreme gaming.
In terms of optics, Cool Play 6 features a 13 - megapixel dual rear cameras along with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and dual LED flash. The front camera has 8-megapixel lens along with the f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video calling.
