Galaxy Note 9 BenchMark Test Results Spotted on GeekBench

Earlier this month Samsung had launched Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in India, now it’s time for the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 as the leak and rumors of the smartphone has started rolling out on the internet.

The benchmark test details of upcoming Galaxy smartphone has appeared on the internet on Geekbench along with specifications.The benchmark details revealed too early and it seems that the smartphone will come with camera improvements, better optimization, and specifications before the official launch.

The upcoming Galaxy smartphone benchmark test details posted on 28th March on Geekbench with the model number SM-N960. The listings suggest that the current model number of Galaxy Note 9 looks similar to last year’s Galaxy Note 8 model number with SM-N950U model number series in the US. However, the benchmark listings also suggest the specifications of upcoming Galaxy smartphone, it seems that it is powered by a Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Obviously, this will be sold in North America particularly as for other markets Galaxy Note 9 might come with Exynos 9810 processor.

As per benchmark listings, Galaxy Note 9 scored a 2,190 in single-core tests and 8,806 in multi-core tests which is surprising to the Galaxy Note 8 but lower than the Apple iPhone X and single- core tests results is slightly lower as compared to Samsung Galaxy S9.

It is anticipated that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 9 sometime in the mid of August. However, Samsung has not officially revealed any information regarding Galaxy Note 9. The previous reports claimed that Galaxy Note is likely to feature an under- display fingerprint scanner. Ming-Chi Kuo analyst of KGI Securities announced that Samsung upcoming smartphone does not come with under-display fingerprint sensor due to some technical problems. It is likely to come with a larger battery as compared to Galaxy Note 8. We are anticipating that South Korean might launch the Galaxy Note 9 sooner as per the expected date as the company has already started testing on the software of upcoming Galaxy smartphone.
