Galaxy S9+ Sunrise Gold Edition With SmartThings App Launched

Samsung Galaxy S9+ was initially showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February this year. The S9 Plus was launched in India in March 2018 alongside Samsung Galaxy S9 and now the South- Korean company launches the new Sunrise Gold Edition of Galaxy S9+ in India which is to be considered the company’s best- selling smartphone.

At the time of official launch in India, the company offered three color options: Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, and Midnight Black and now one more Sunrise Gold color have been added by South- Korean company recently. Galaxy S9 Plus is now available in four color options: Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, Midnight Black and Sunrise Gold In India.

While unveiling the Gold Color Variant of S9+, Samsung has officially announced the availability of unified mobile to TV convergence solution through the SmartThings app, dubbed with TV control.

Aditya Babbar, General Manager of Samsung India stated, “Our consumers are looking to express their style and personality through technology and color plays a big part in that personalization. The Sunrise Gold Edition of Galaxy S9+ extends the color offerings of Galaxy S9+ with vibrant styles that embrace a modern and classic feel.

In our endeavor to bring meaningful innovation for our consumers as part of our Make for India initiative, we are also delighted to introduce a one of its kind unified convergence solution between mobiles and television.” The newly launched Sunrise Gold Edition of Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is to be made available only in 128GB storage variant which has been priced at Rs.68,900.

It is worth noting that the newly launched Sunrise Gold Edition will be available in limited quantities which is to be available for purchase from 20th of June via Flipkart and the Samsung Shop.

Interested customers who want to purchase Gold Color variant of Galaxy S9+ will get one-time screen replacement offer and cashback offers worth amounting Rs.9000 payment via Paytm Mall or ICICI Bank credit cards. The users can pre-book the new color variant of Samsung Galaxy S9+ on selected online stores i.., Samsung Shop and Flipkart starting from 15th of June.

Samsung has also launched the SmartThings app also called TV control app which allows users to access the television of their home with the help of the smartphone and it works similar to TV remote. TV control widget comes with features such as two-way screen mirroring and sound mirroring.

Through View Screen Mode in the App, users can watch the television in any of the room of their house by enabling the ‘TV to device’ option or vice- versa users can play games by mirroring their mobile screen on to their television by connecting the smartphone to TV option.

Samsung TV Remote App comes with a ‘Play Sound Option’ that allows Samsung users to share and stream music from its own mobile to others by utilizing it as a Bluetooth speaker connecting the “Device to TV” option. By enabling the TV to Device option can allow the users to hear TV sound by plugging earphones on their smartphones during night time if they don’t want to disturb others at home.
