Samsung Galaxy S7 Series Starts Receiving Android 8.O Oreo Update in India

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone users have started receiving Android 8.O Oreo update in India. Earlier this month, an OTA software update was rolled in South- Korea after then the company resumed for some period of time due to some unexpected bug issues. The new Android 8.0 software update comes with several impressive features such as Samsung UI Experience version 9.0, enhanced UI improvements, Smart Autofill, Picture-in-Picture mode, high contrast keyboard which enhances the overall UI of S7 edge matching with Galaxy S8 & S9.

The new software update for Samsung Galaxy S7 edge arrive as R16NW G93FXXU2EREM and it consumes around 1.3GB of storage space.

Android 8.0 Oreo update to Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge gadgets has been already started in the US, Europe and now in India. In Canada, Oreo update for S7 edge smartphone would be started from 11th June.

Likewise, other Android updates, Android Oreo software update to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge would be available in different batches. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users can check the new OTA update by opening Settings > Software updates.
