Huawei, sub-brand Honor has recently unveiled the affordable smartphone with the name tag Honor 7A particularly in the China market. As expected, the budget segment Honor 7A goes official in the Indian market now.The Honor 7A was launched on 22nd May at an event in New Delhi.
The highlights of Honor 7A includes 18:9 aspect ratio display, face recognition, dual -rear camera setup, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and much more. The Honor 7A is the successor of the previously launched Honor 6A.

The Honor 7A was launched in China in March this year and the company has offered the smartphone in Black, Blue, and Gold color options in India.
In India, the company has launched the Honor 7A in one variant i.e., 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which has been priced at Rs. 8,999. The budget- segment Honor 7A is available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart as well as Honor e-store.
The recently launched Honor 7A is available for purchase in the form of the flash sale starting today 10 July 2018 at 12 pm IST on Flipkart. In today's flash sale, Honor 7A is available in 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage only. The company is also trying to put some units of the Honor 7A on Hi Honor online store for sale.
The Honor 7A runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on the top. The smartphone boasts a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display along with the screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels. The Honor 7A comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display that means the smartphone has a bezel-less display.
It is embedded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via memory card. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
The 3GB RAM variant of Honor 7A comes with a dual- rear camera setup which comprises the combination of 13-megapixel primary CMOS camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Both the variants of 7A are equipped with AI-based features and image blur capabilities. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel front- facing camera along with selfie light.
The connectivity options on the smartphone are Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and 3.5mm headphone jack, whereas sensors on the smartphone are gravity sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor, and face unlock. The weight of the smartphone is 150 grams and its dimensions are 152.4x73x7.8mm.
