Huawei sub-brand Honor has started working on the successor of Honor 7C, which is to be termed as Honor 8C. A teaser image of the device has been spotted on Weibo which reveals that the upcoming Honor 8C would be unveiled on October 11. ‘Charging Up’ is written on the teaser image which is to be considered the highlighting feature of the alleged Honor 8C.
The smartphone has a notch on the top the display which we can foresee in the teaser image. It is anticipated that the successor of Honor 7C would come with the support of fast charging.
To recall, Honor 7C was initially launched in the China market and then in India in May 2018. The Honor 7C comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 and in the previous month, the company has reduced the price of Honor 7C by Rs 500 that means now it is available for purchase at a discounted price of Rs 9,499.
As such, no official specifications of the Honor 8C are available at the moment. A few days ago, the upcoming Honor smartphone has been spotted on TENAA with the model number BKK-TL00 which is expected to be the Honor 8C.
As per the listings of TENNA, the Honor 8C with model number BKK-TL00, the smartphone will come with a 6.26-inch screen display notch and the screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.
It is likely to come with unnamed octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz integrated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is speculated that it would also be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage configuration similar to Honor 7C
In terms of lens, the alleged the Honor 8C is expected to come with dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras on the rear panel and 8-megapixel camera for the selfie snapper. It seems that it would run on Android 8.1 Oreo. It would be backed by a 3800mAh battery.
The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and 167.2 grams respectively that have been listed on TENAA. The Honor 8C is likely to made available in four color options including blue, black, purple and gold.
