Honor Magic 2 Expected to Unveil on October 31

The rumoured Honor Magic 2 from Huawei was showcased at IFA 2018 in Berlin by President George Zhao. Since then, the Huawei sub-brand Honor has not officially unveiled the Magic 2. It has appeared on the internet various times in the form of leaks and rumors which reveals the design and specifications of the upcoming smartphone. According to the Honor Chinese website, it is anticipated that the Magic 2 would be unveiled on October 31.

So far, the reports have claimed that the rumored Honor Magic 2 is said to feature an advanced HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, Bezel-less display 40W ‘Magic Charge’ technology. The upcoming Honor Magic 2 is expected to come with a motorized camera similar to Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex.

Honor has started teasing the launch date of Magic 2 at official Chinese website when you click on the homepage of the website, the teaser has been tilted with, “Honor Magic 2 is coming on October 31”. Currently, no other information is available at the moment.

Additionally, a post on Weibo affirms that the Honor Magic 2 will come with under- display fingerprint scanner than the physical one. It also reveals that the device will feature a higher screen-to-body ratio which pointing towards the bezel-less display. 

Honor Magic 2 Rumored Specifications

Honor has been confirmed that the Magic 2 is likely to be equipped with modern HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC which is to be the “world’s first commercial 7nm SoC”. Furthermore, the company claims that the modern processor would render great results 20 percent SoC performance and 40 percent more efficiency than the previous processors.

Next great feature on the Magic 2 is the 40W 'Magic Charge'. Honor claims very Fast and Safe charging on the Magic 2. The Magic 2 press release states that Supercharging can start only If the Magic 2 identifies the battery, cable, and charger.

The Magic 2 will carry the flag forward and Zhao is confident that the AI industry will keep an eye on how the Magic 2 paves the way for futuristic flagship devices.
