HTC, the Taiwanese company, made its HTC Butterfly 3 and HTC One M9+ smartphones available for the global market. Butterfly 3 was launched earlier in Japan in May this year. And now, it is ready to roll out outside the Japan. The international variant of Butterfly 3 is identical in terms of specifications.
The HTC Butterfly 3 features a 5.2-inch QHD, IPS LCD3 display, and is a water and dust resistant device with IPX5/IPX7 and IP5X certification. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and is powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor.
The handset arrives with 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card slot expansion upto 2TB and clubs with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU.
On the board, the handset equips a 20.2- megapixel camera at the rear end with dual LED flash light, while it houses a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. For the connectivity option, it includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G connectivity options. The smartphone is backed by 2700mAH battery, and features a Qualcomm Quick charging 2.0 technology.
The handset would be launched in Taiwan on October 20 with a price tag of TWD 19,990. Information related to the specific date of its global launch and exact price tag is still unknown.
Now moving ahead to the HTC ONE M9+ Supreme Camera, the smartphone have the same specifications as the M9+. The only changes which the HTC has made in its high-end smartphone is its camera. It is enabled with the new laser autofocus system and better rear camera. The new variant is featuring a 21- megapixel autofocus rear camera with OIS and f/2.2 aperture and the front-facing UltreaPixel camera remains unchanged.
Supreme Camera One M9+ features a 5.2-inch Quad- HD display with the resolution of 1440*2560 pixels. It is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 processor. The handset have the native storage of 32GB which is further expandable by microSD card upto 128GB and clubs with 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone will be available in different color variants including Gunmetal Grey and Silver Gold Color variants. It is backed by 2840 non-removable battery. The availability and pricing details of the smartphones are yet to be confirmed.
