Huawei has just made its new smartphone Ascend Y540 available without ant prior information. It seems like the maker forgot to announce the device or it may be possible that they will launch it officially later in coming days. Looking at the innards of this device, it seems like the company has tried to entice customers with a budget-friendly device.
Well, the smartphone has been reportedly set for budget users of Europe with approximate price tag of €100 - €110. What bells and whistles will be used to make it powerful? Ascend Y540 has received Snapdragon 200 chipset which works with dual-core 1.3GHz processor which is upped just a step from its predecessor Ascend Y530.
On the other side, the RAM is also improved, you can say it the improved version of Y530 with budget price. It is equipped with 1GB RAM which gives seamless experience with its smooth multitasking capability. The handset supports dual SIM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. A 1950mAh battery gives sufficient juice to the device. No words on the talk time and standby time for this Huawei smartphone.
However, there is no information about availability in other markets. It flaunts a 4.5-inch display with 480x854 pixels resolution and will come with 3G connectivity. For shutterbugs, the company has carved a 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front shooter. Ascend Y540 is embedded with 4GB inbuilt storage that is expandable upto 32GB using microSD card.
