Huawei Mate 10 is expected to launch in October this year

It is speculated that Huawei, a chinese Smartphone manufacturer will reveal the successor of Huawei Mate 9 with the name of Huawei Mate 10 in October this year. According to the Chinese website Mobile.Yesky.com, it is revealed that the smartphone is expected to be equipped with facial recognition and will support AR features as well as 3D sensing technology.

It is also expected that the Huawei Mate 10 will be powered by a HiSilcon Kirin 970 SoC built on the 10nm process. The Android smartphone will sport a 6-inch (1080x2160 pixels) bezel less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. As of now, the company has not disclosed exactly when the smartphone will be launched officially nor any detailed features or specifications of the device has been revealed. If the rumours are true, then the company will definitely reveal more information about the smartphone in the upcoming months. Lovers of Huawei are enthusiastically waiting for more updates about the smartphone.

To recall, Huawei Mate 9 was revealed in the month of November 2016, at a price tag of EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 51,600) including taxes. The dual sim smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based on EMUI 5.0. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core SoC processor and is coupled with 4GB RAM. It sports 5.9-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display while a fingerprint sensor is placed in the back side of the smartphone which supports gestures.

On the camera front, the Mate 9 has 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 12-megapixel RGB sensor with f/2.2 apertures. The front camera sports 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture. The special feature of the camera is its “second-generation Leica dual-lens camera', which has been 'co-engineered' with LeicaIt. The smartphone gets powered by a 4000 mAH battery and comes up with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity that can be further extended via upto 256GB via microSD card.
