Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 Now Official With 5.99 Full View Display

It is an achievement for Huawei, as the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company has launched a trio of premium smartphones with the name tag P20, P20 Pro, and Mate RS at an event in Paris on 27th March 2018. All of three smartphones come with attractive features and specifications with expensive price tags. Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 is an updated version of the Huawei Y7 Prime that was launched by the company in a previous year. In terms of features, Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 does not come with premium features but the smartphone is equipped with several basic features such as face unlock, split-screen mode, Full View display, AR lens, dual cameras, Android Oreo, and much more. The interesting part is that the company has not revealed information about price and availability of Y7 Prime 2018. It will be available in three color options - Black, Blue, and Gold.

Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 Specifications

Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 boasts a 5.99-inch HD+ Full View display with the screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels and has an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone brings a triple card slot so the users can use two SIMs and one microSD card at the same time. The smartphone is embedded with a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 SoC, which clocked at 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. The Y7 Prime 2018 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further expanded via memory card.

The Y7 Prime 2018 is said to feature a dual rear camera setup which comprises a combination of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. In terms of hardware, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.0 on the top. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. The connectivity options on the smartphone are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC (LDN-TL10 only) whereas, sensors on the board are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, and a proximity sensor. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel of the smartphone as you can see in the images. The weight of the smartphone is 155 grams and its dimensions are 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8 mm.
