Intex Aqua A1 with 3G Support Announced at Rs. 4,030

To diversify the budget category of smartphones, India based mobile maker: Intex has commenced a low cost handset, called Aqua A1. Apparently, company has labeled this brand-new device with a price tag of Rs. 4,030 and cataloged on official website along with full specifications. But, an exact date of availability is yet-to-be specified by firm.

This dual-SIM supported handheld is housed with a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, which bestows some additional attributes such as face recognition, Panorama, continuous shot and HDR options at an economical value. Here, mobile also incorporates a 0.3-megapixel sensor on its front panel.

Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, phone provides 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB and Bluetooth connectivity options. The smartphone bears a 4-inch WVGA IPS display that produces a pixel density of 233ppi and pixel resolution of 480x800p.

The novel heir of corporation is engineered with a dual-core MediaTek processor with a clocked speed of 1GHz. As per Intex, gadget is powered by a 1400mAh battery that renders 4-5 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time. In terms of memory, Aqua A1 is armed with 512MB RAM alongside 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card.

Furthermore, handset has 125x53.6x10.3mm dimension and comprises some sensors such as gyroscope, ambient light, accelerometer and proximity. Well, budget portfolio of domestic marketplace is already crowded with various devices, wherein recently-launched smartphones: Tizen-powered Samsung Z1 and Wiio WI-Star come across as biggest rivals of Intex Aqua A1.
