Kodak Introduced Ektra Smartphone And Bluetooth Speaker in India

Kodak, the renowned the US based camera manufacturing and developing firm, on Monday, via its Indian licensee for Mobile devices named as Bullitt Group, introduced its all new Android smartphone dubbed as Kodak Ektra with a price tag of Rs 19,990. The handset will be available via Flipkart from 4 pm on Tuesday.

The new Android smartphone by Kodak is already available in the US and Europe, and now the smartphone has made its way to India. The highlighting part of the smartphone is its camera, which includes a 21-megapixel fast-focus camera sensor coupled with f/2.0 aperture. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and f/2.2 aperture is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. Being a camera manufacturing firm, Kodak has integrated some ravishing photography option in its smartphone, which includes DSLR-like 'Scene Selection Dial' to make real time adjustments via a range of settings, including HDR, landscape, portrait, macro, sport, night-time and panorama.

The optical part of Ektra also offers high-quality low-light photography with the help of a "ARCSOFT Night Shot" technology. The new technology collaborated with a Kodak-certified lens coating aims to enhance the light that reaches the sensor while decreasing the noise. Apart from that, the handset is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and packs a 5-inch full-HD display. The Kodak Ektra is powered by a Helio X20 2.3GHz Deca-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory space.

Our latest features and performance adjustments include RAW support, all of which will help drive our customers' creativity.”

On the other hand, one of Kodak’s another licensee, Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. (SPPL) has also introduced an all new bluetooth speaker dubbed as Kodak TV Speaker. The new speaker by Kodak is blessed with Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR connectivity along with a range of up to 10 meters. The batter of the speaker has been claimed to provide 5 hours of battery life by the company and the speaker will be available via Flipkart with a price tag of Rs 3,290.
