To heat up the segment of budget smartphones, Lava has introduced yet another low-cost mobile phone, called Iris 414 at just at Rs. 4,049. In March, this homegrown mobile maker has already commenced a bevy of handsets such as Iris Fuel 10 & Iris Fuel 25, Iris 325 Style and Iris X1 Beats in domestic marketplace in order to bring better propositions for budget-conscious folks that are looking for a decent smartphone but don't want to pay a hefty amount.
Besides all, newly-announced handheld offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB2.0 and Bluetooth connectivity options at an economical value. The device features a decent 4-inch TFT display with a pixel resolution of 480x800p.
On imaging front, phone is outfitted with a 3.2-megapixel rear fixed-focus shooter with LED flash and its front panel is accompanied by a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) sensor. The new scion of corporation's Iris lineup is packed with a 1400mAh battery that has been rated to confer 12 hours and 10 hours 40 minutes of talk time on 2G and 3G networks respectively.
Memory-wise, smartphone is arrayed with 512MB RAM and incorporates 4GB of internal storage, which can be extended upto 32GB by using a microSD card. This Dual SIM equipped gadget runs on Android KitKat v4.4.2 operating system and powered by a 1GHz single-core processor, however its chipset has not been specified on official website.
Paired with an accelerometer sensor, Lava Iris 414 has 120x63.4x10.4mm dimension and it weighs 110 grams. Though, company has cataloged its novel creation on official website with full specifications and pricing details, but an exact date of availability is yet-to-be disclosed.
