Lava Z92 with AI gaming mode Launched at INR 9999

Lava is the Indian smartphone OEM and has launched a new entry-level smartphone in India namely Lava Z92. The main USP of the new smartphone is that it has AI gaming mode which will help in free up the cache, CPU, RAM and GPU resources while playing graphics-intensive games, to improve the gaming performance. After the launch of Lava Z91, the Lava Z92 is its successor and lineup of Z-series.

Price and availability of the Lava Z92

The price of the Lava Z92 is Rs 9,999 and is available in India through online e-commerce websites and offline stores. Also the smartphone comes with INR 2200 Cashback for the Jio users which will be credited in 44 Cashback vouchers of Rs. 50 each and will be reflected in the MyJio App on Rs. 198 & Rs. 299 Plans and up to 50GB of additional 4G data in the form of one additional data voucher of 5GB per recharge for a maximum of 10 recharges.

Specifications of the Lava Z92

The smartphone offers a 6.22-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution, along with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved tempered glass. The Lava Z92 will be powered with the 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU along with the 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB ROM which can be expandable further via microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, the device offers 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear along with a dual tone dual LED flash and at the front, it offers 8-megapixel camera. Both the camera has the feature to capture AI selfies and photos with bokeh effect. The Lava Z92 smartphone offers the features like a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock using the selfie camera for security.

The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS. The Lava Z92 will feature a 3260 mAh Li-ion battery which will support 10W fast charging through the micro USB port with a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack.

At the same price sticker i.e. Rs 9,999, the smartphone will compete with the rivals like Realme U1, Realme 2 Pro, Honor 10 Lite, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, and other smartphones with the same budget and similar specifications.
