Leaked: Nokia X6 with iPhone X-like notch to be launched on April 27

On April 27 HMD Global, the Finland based company affiliated with Nokia will launch two smartphones inline with the Nokia X-series. Launch dates and the viral leaked images have been doing the rounds in social media circles as well as technology platforms for a while now. But most recently more leaks have surfaced that give away details about specifications and features of one of the variants — the Nokia X6. as per the leaks, the main highlight of the Nokia 6 is the iPhone X like notch. The Nokia X6 will also borrow elements of the Nokia 7 Plus the back panel with vertically placed dual cameras and copper accent. The LED flash is placed between the two.

Other highlights as reported on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo include :

1. 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio.

2. Bezel-less screen with digital Nokia logo at the right-bottom

3. Two processor variants — Snapdragon 636 SoC and MediaTek P60 processor.

4. Fingerprint Scanner.

In addition to offering customers with two processor options to choose from, the Nokia X6 which runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo, will be available in two storage variants — 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, and 6GB RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage. For photography lovers, the dual camera setup at the back is equipped with 12-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens.

Reportedly, HMD Global will price the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant at Rs. 16,800 approx. Whereas the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage could come with a price tag of roughly Rs. 19,000.
