Lenovo Unveiled Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus Smartphone At MWC 2016

Lenovo, the trending brand towards the manufacturing of the affordable smartphone with speculating specifications, has expanded it's budget line of smartphones. The company ahead of MWC 2016 announced its two new smartphones dubbed as Lenovo Vibe K5 and the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus.

As per the source, the Lenovo Vibe K5 is priced at $129 (roughly Rs. 8,800), whereas the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus costs $149 (roughly Rs. 10,200). The smartphones are available in Silver, Grey and Gold color variants.

In terms of specifications, the Vibe K5 is featuring a 5-inch LCD HD display having a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 405 and 2GB RAM. The device houses a 16GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSd card slot expansion.

At the photography department, it incorporates a 13-megapixel camera at the rear end while a 5-megapixel front facing shooter on the front for selfies.

On the other hand, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is offering with slightly more powerful hardware modules. It features a 5-inch IPS LCD full HD display with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 quad-core SoC with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

On the photography front, the Vibe k5 Plus includes a 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera.

For the connectivity, both the handset includes dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and Micro-USB 2.0 as a connectivity options. The Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 plus are operated on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system and are backed by a 2750mAh battery.
