Lenovo Vibe X2 with Android L, Invites Sent out for September 4 Launch Event

It’s not so far when the Lenovo Vibe X2 smartphone will land on the floor with its amazing features. Invites for its September 4 event has been sent out . The invite is showing the image of Lollipop with the name of yet to be launched device. It gives the indication that the handset will run on Android L platform.

This invite reads, "We can’t say anything either," which makes us to remind the invitation of Apple for its September 9 event. The text written over there reads "Wish we could say more." It seems like Lenovo tries to copy Apple. It is said that much talked iPhone 6 (All about the iPhone 6)will come in this event. Well, leaving this point over here, step forward to the leaks which tells us about Vibe X2.

As per the leak of Gdgtarena, it will be powered by 2.2GHz dual-core processor and will feature 5-inch full-HD display. It is also said that it would be coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. On the imaging section, it is expected to come with 13-megapixel rear camera which has LED flash for bright image output. It will also get 5MP of front-facing camera for best selfie result.

As per the leaked specs, it seems almost identical in features as its predecessor, Vibe X except few ones. It is also said that Company will bring Vibe X2 with Android L support and it is also revealing the name of the latest Android OS as Lollipop, if believes on the Lenovo’s invitation. However, Google has not announced any confirmation about this name. Even Google has not suggested a single word for its latest released Android L.

Earlier in August, Lenovo came with a phablet, Vibe Z2 Pro to expand the Vibe series which is features 6-inch Quad-HD (1440x2560 pixel) display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 4000mAh battery etc are few more features of this device.
