Alongside the Lenovo Z5s, the company has also launched Lenovo Z5 Pro GT at the same event in China. The device comes with flagship specifications including 12GB RAM, 512GB internal memory, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has been launched in four storage variants - 6GB RAM+128GB storage model, 8GB RAM+128GB storage model, 8GB RAM+256GB storage model, and the high end 12GB RAM 512GB storage model
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with a starting price of CNY 2,698 (roughly Rs. 27,700) for the base model and goes up to CNY 4,398 (roughly Rs. 45,200
The company has officially announced that the registrations of new Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will commence from January 1, 2019, at 10:00 AM China Standard Time (CST), while the deliveries will start from January 24 in China.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has a screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. For the safety purpose, the smartphone gets Corning Gorilla Glass on the top which protects the device from scratches and damages. As a part of the software, it runs on Android Pie out-of-the-box layered with ZUI on the top and supports dual- SIM.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT gets dual cameras on the rear and front panel. The rear camera set up consist Sony IMX576 24-megapixel primary sensor and Sony IMX519 16-megapixel secondary sensor with same aperture lens of f/1.8 on each sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture lens of f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with the support of Infrared (IR) face unlock feature.
It must be noted that the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with a slider pattern design that boasts selfie camera, earpiece and ambient light sensor.
Inside the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC that is to based on 7nm chipset which is touted to deliver outstanding speed in terms of performance. For storage, the smartphone gets 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal memory. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC is the USP of Lenovo Z5 Pro GT.
The Z5 Pro GT comes with the support of Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone has a battery back up of 3350 mAh under the hood.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has been preloaded with an ambient light sensor, hall sensor, electronic compass, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. To unlock the device, the smartphone features an under- display fingerprint scanner.
Overall, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is a full- screen smartphone that has no bezels around the corners and on the top, it has a motorized selfie camera.
As of now, there is no information when the Lenovo would unveil the Z5 Pro GT in other markets outside China.
