LG, the South Korean giant has recently launched the new smartphone, dubbed as K30 specifically in the US which is identical to previously launched LG X4+, in terms of looking. Earlier this week, it was spotted on the website of T- Mobile in the US. The LG K30 will be available for purchase exclusively at T-Mobile in the US, priced at $225 (Rs 15,000 approx) if purchased contract-free. Interested users can purchase the budget smartphone in EMI options which is priced at $9 (Rs 600 approx) per month for the period of two years. So far, it is not confirmed whether the South- Korean company will launch the LG K30 globally or not.

The LG K30 flaunts a 5.3-inch HD IPS display with the screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. Many of the smartphone manufacturer companies are focusing to adopt a larger display with an 18:9, 18.5:9 or a 19:9 aspect ratio, but the LG K30 comes with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio display. It runs on outdated Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with LG UX 6.0+on the top.
In terms of software, the LG K30 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 2TB by using the memory card.
In terms of camera department, the LG K30 packs a 13MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. The rear camera features an LED flash and PDAF as well as supports 1080p video recording. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 2880 mAh battery along with the support of fast charging.
Connectivity options on the LG K30 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. The fingerprint scanner is positioned underneath the rear camera. The dimensions of the smartphone are 148.6x74.9x8.6mm.
At the Launch Event which was conducted on 2nd May in New York, the South- Korean company had recently launched the duo of smartphones, dubbed as LG G7 ThinQ and LG G7+ ThinQ.
LG G7 ThinQ comes with a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display, 3,000mAh battery, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The LG G7 ThinQ is available in four color options: Platinum Gray, Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Raspberry Ros. The smartphone packs a dual 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
LG G7 ThinQ and LG G7+ ThinQ are identical to each other in terms of specifications except storage capacity and RAM. LG G7+ ThinQ comes with a larger 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
