LG, the South Korean giant has recently launched a trio of mid-range smartphones dubbed as LG Q7, LG Q7 Plus, and the LG Q7 Alpha. The company has reported that the smartphone will be available for purchase in Europe in early next month which will be followed by other countries North America, South America, and Asia. The company has taken the hints from previously launched LG G6 series to design LG Q7 series variant and introduced three variants in LG Q7 2018.
All of the smartphones come with thin-bezel and Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered camera features. The LG Q7 is the successor of the previously launched LG Q6 and certified with MIL-STD 810G tests. Currently, the company has not revealed the pricing information of these smartphones.

The LG Q7, LG Q7 Plus, and LG Q7 Alpha feature a taller 18:9 aspect ratio display. The key highlighting features of these smartphones are the Portrait mode, QLens Hi-Fi quality audio, and DTS:X 3D Surround Sound. A fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel and it can be used to control the notification bar, capture screenshot and to capture the image as well.
The LG Q7 series variant certified with an IP68 rating which helps to protect the smartphones from water and dust resistance. The LG Q7 and Q7+ are available in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet, whereas the LG Q7 Alpha comes only in Moroccan Blue color variant. Additionally, the LG Q7+ is equipped with a Hi-Fi Quad DAC that supports high-quality earphones to listen to songs in higher volume without any distortion.
The LG Q7 series smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD Display, screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio and protected with 2.5D curved glass. All of the LG smartphones are powered by either 1.5 GHz or 1.8 GHz Octa-core SoC, totally depends on the market.
The LG G7 and LG Alpha variant are equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, whereas the LG Q7+ comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The users can expand the storage capacity up to 2TB by using the memory card on all smartphones.
The LG Q7 and the Q7 Alpha sport a single 13 MP rear camera featuring LED flash, whereas the Q7 has a 16MP camera on the rear panel. For the selfie snapper, LG Q7 and Q7+ sport either 8MP or 5MP selfie shooter, it depends on the market, whereas LG Q7 Alpha bears a 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens. In terms of software, all three smartphones run on Android 8.0 Oreo OS that skinned with custom LG on the top.
The LG Q7, Q7 Plus, and Q7 Alpha are fueled by a 3000mAh battery along with fast charging technology. The user can charge the 50 percent of battery only in 30 minutes, claim company. In terms of dimensions, these smartphones measure 143.8x69.3x8.4mm and the weight is 145 grams. The LG Q7 series of smartphones come with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C (version 2.0).
While unveiling the LG Q series variant, Ha Jeung-UK, senior vice president and business unit leader for LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company stated in a press statement,”With selected features just only recently introduced in our 2018 LG G7 ThinQ, the Q7 is a great combination of features, design, performance, and price.”
At the time of official launch, the South- Korean company not disclosed the prices of flagship smartphone now LG has announced the prices of recently launched LG Q7 and Q7+ affordable smartphones. The LG Q7 comes with a price tag KRW 495,000 roughly translates to Rs 30,900, whereas the LG Q7+ has been priced at KRW 570,000 (approximately Rs. 35,600).
The LG Q7 series smartphones will be available for purchase in South Korea via three major mobile operators It is expected that the flagship smartphones will be arriving in some markets such as Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Middle East Africa, however in Europe, it will arrive in early June. Presently, LG has not revealed the price of LG Q7 Alpha model.
