LG Started Rolling Out Android 8.0 For LG V30 Smartphones

It is a good news for LG users, the South Korean electronics company has officially announced the rolling- out of new Android 8.0 Oreo update in its latest flagship LG V30 smartphone. The new update comes with several improvements such as the battery, graphics, and UI performance. The new update has been rolled out over the air (OTA) and it is available in the South Korean units initially. Those users who are using LG V30 can update their smartphones by connecting to the PC by utilising the LG Bridge programme. The users can download the LG Bridge app from companies mobile download center.

Android 8.0 Oreo update comes up with several features such as notification dots, enhanced quick settings, Picture-in-Picture mode, and smart auto fill. Under the proprietary features, it includes high-resolution LDAC audio technology for minimising sound source loss. It is anticipated that the Android Oreo update helps to improve software performance, speed, and battery on the LG V30 smartphones.

LG Started Rolling Out Android 8.0 For LG V30

To refresh your memory, LG V30 has a 6-inch QHD+ (1440 x2880 pixels resolution). It packs with OLED FullVision display with HDR10 support. The smartphone supports a single SIM (GSM) and runs on LG UX 6.0 Plus. It is based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and available with Android 8.0 Oreo update. The smartphone is embedded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor matted with 4GB RAM.

In terms of Optics, the LG V30 having a dual rear camera set- up, 16-megapixel featuring a f/1.6 aperture, a 71-degree wide-angle lens, and LED flash, and a 13-megapixel sensor featuring an aperture of f/1.9 and a 120-degree wide-angle lens. Whereas, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel sensor front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling.
