Meizu 16T (Turbo) Gaming Smartphone With Snapdragon 855 SoC Under Development

Smartphone manufacturing companies have now started focusing to launch gaming smartphones as most of the people like to play high- end games such as PUBG, FORTNITE and more. Obviously, these games require high storage space in the device so it slows down the speed and creates issues at the time of playing games. It is confirmed that Meizu gaming smartphone has been in the development stage which expected to be launched during 2019.

Huang Zhang, CEO of Meizu previously stated that the Meizu gaming smartphone would be titled as Meizu 16G but now the company changed the name to Meizu 16T (Turbo) so it does not create any kind of confusion in the consumer's mind, although the information has been posted by Zhang on Meizu forum. It must be noted that the device in the initial stage of progress so it’s difficult to reveal the detailed information regarding the 16T (Turbo), said Zhang. The upcoming Meizu gaming smartphone would be one of the most affordable devices of the year 2019 which run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

If the Zhang comments are to be believed then the Meizu 16T (Turbo) could be available at a starting price of CNY 2,500, which approximately converts into Rs 26,500. It is said to be powered by a massive 4,000mAh-4,500mAh battery.

Apart from the Meizu 16T (Turbo), the company is also working on other two smartphones - Meizu 16s and Meizu 16s Plus which likely to be launched during this year itself. Both of these smartphones would be expensive than the previous flagships being offered by Meizu. Additionally, the Meizu 16s and Meizu 16s Plus would not come with a notch on the top of the display like the previous phones. Zhang has also announced that Flyme OS 8 is in the state of action which could be soon unveiled in China.

The detailed information regarding the upcoming Meizu smartphones is not available at the moment. But, we expect that the design and specifications of the upcoming smartphones could be revealed in the form of leaks and teaser videos.

It looks like that Meizu has been continuously putting efforts to make its strong presence in the smartphone segment especially in the China market by offering value for money devices.
