Micromax Launched Unite 4 Plus Possessing Fingerprint Scanner at Just Rs. 7,999

Micromax, an Indian Android Smartphone manufacturing company announced another model in its Canvas Unite series on Friday. The Micromax Unit 4 Plus comes in Champagne, Grey and Silver colour variants priced at Rs. 7,999. The device is featured with a system-wide support for 12 Indian regional languages along with Indus 2.0 OS. The smartphone also includes language and translation based features such as a hybrid keyboard, a Text-To-Speech, Indus Swipe and the App Bazar’s regional language marketplace.

A Fingerprint scanner on the home button has been given as a key feature in the Dual-sim(Micro-Sim support) smartphone. Micromax Unit 4 Plus is packed with a 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720X1280 pixels running with charisma of Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor coupled with 2GB RAM.

The model bears an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera for selfies. The smartphone is backed up with 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery and an internal storage of 16GB is provided in the device for storing files which can be extended upto 64GB via microSD card.

Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro-USB has been given as connectivity options. Apart from that, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor and an accelerometer are given sensors on the board.

In an emailed statement, Micromax said, “The newly revamped Indus 2.0 OS offering now includes support for Urdu and Assamese. Other features include the Indus keyboard with its hybrid keyboard feature that lets users types in a mix of English and regional languages, apart from offering multi-lingual word predictions.”

The company is also paying attention on access to the regional language app marketplace App Bazar and Indus Messaging service as well.
