Moto E enters in 2nd Generation with 4G LTE and Lollipop Flavour

Motorola seems avid to knock you down with a feather. After enticing the whole market with its second generation Moto X and Moto G, company has finally folded up the sleeves to woo the whole world again, but this time with a second generation budget handset. Its Moto E 2nd Gen, which has taken birth with some tweaks and some improved features that was absent in the original Moto E.

The company got the success in creating a big hoopla for a unique arrival, but at last what we have received is just a refreshed device in the form of next generation. However, the device has enough enticing features to lure budget users. It will come in two variants – one with 4G LTE support and another with 3G network support.

Moto E Gen 2 with Android Lollipop

Well, the new Moto E has got the new flavor; buyers of this device will be able to taste the Android 5.0 Lollipop on its sturdy hardware. The device is stalwart in nature with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Motorola is the only company which manufactures its every device including the low-cost devices with high-end specs.

Featuring the 4.5-inch qHD display, it can be called as a bigger version of the original Moto E. Ditching the predecessor’s fixed-focus camera, the tech giant has manufactured the new Moto E with 5MP Autofocus rear camera with f/ 2.2 aperture. The device also has 0.3MP front-facing shooter for selfie enthusiasts which didn’t exist in its elder brother.

This new model offers both 4G LTE connectivity and 3G as separate variant while the Last year’s device has single model with 3G connectivity. Its LTE model takes the power from 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor to boost the performance along with Adreno 306 400 MHz GPU while 3G variant is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and Adreno 302 400 MHz GPU. To boost the multitasking experience, a 1GB RAM is crafted inside the handset.

Other specifications of this Moto E 2nd Gen include 2390mAh battery, 8GB inbuilt storage, and microSD card slot (for upto 32GB data storage). For connectivity purpose, it has Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS.

Moto E Gen 2 Custom Colorful Bands

Motorola has given the buyers a choice to customize their new Moto E design with six colorful bands while it originally comes in White and Black colors. Company is also offering Motorola Grip Shells in 5 colors for the same purpose. The handset will be going to sale in US market from today at $199 for 3G model and $149 for 4G LTE model. It is expected that select 50 markets will get this newly announced budget smartphone in coming weeks.
