After so many rumours and leaks, Motorola has finally launched two more smartphones in its product line with the name of Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. “S” letter in the product symbolise for “special edition”. The company reported that the recently revealed smartphones will provide several benefits to users as compared to its predecessor - Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. Both of the smartphones Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus will be available at EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 18,900) and EUR 299 (roughly Rs. 22,700) respectively, and also available for sale in several countries later in this month.
Two major highlighting features of both smartphones - camera and all- metal unibody designs. In terms of optics, Moto G5S sports 16MP rear camera along with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a 5-megapixel front camera along with wide-angle lens and LED flash support. Whereas, Moto G5S Plus comes up with dual 13MP rear cameras and 8-megapixel front camera along with wide- angle lens and LED flash support.
Moto G5S specifications and features - It is packed by a 3,000mAh battery along with TurboPower feature which provide users 5 hours of power in just only 15 minutes of charging, company claims. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports a 5.2-inch along with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at up to 1.4GHz.
In terms of storage - it is coupled with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB inbuilt storage which can be further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It will be available in two color options- Lunar Grey and Fine Gold. In terms of connectivity board - it includes ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The fingerprint sensor is placed in the front side - mounted at the oval-shaped home button.
Moto G5S Plus specifications and features - It is packed by a 3,000mAh battery along with turbo feature similar to a Moto feature. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports 5.5-inch along along with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2.0GHz. It will be available in two RAM/ storage options- First one is 3GB RAM/32GB storage and the second one is 4GB RAM/64GB storage. Moto G5S Plus Storage further can be expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). Lunar Gray and Blush Gold colours- two color variants of Moto G5S Plus.
Micro-USB, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, are included in the connectivity board. Fingerprint sensor is placed in front side - mounted at the oval-shaped home button.
